If you're wanting the full Chicago experience, you should try finding a Giordano's or Gino's East pizza by the Convention center. Nothing says Chicago like Deep Dish Chicago style pizza. www.metromix.com. is a great site to use if you're trying to find a meeting place in Chicago.

Chicago is a fabulous place. Unfortunately you won't be near Chicago at the convention center. That's in Rosemont, a suburb mostly filled with hotels.

You'll need to catch a cab ($$) to go 'downtown' for fun, or take the blue line train ($2) from the Rosemont station about .3 miles from the convention center, to see the real Chicago.
